technical difficulties and show PSAs

We had a blast putting together this week's Kill Eat Exploit the Weak featuring a ton of indie Canadian metal to pump some local-ish shows scheduled for this weekend. And then CFMU went off air for 8 hours Wednesday night and the show didn't air...

Good news is we'll be able to broadcast all this cool material next week. Bad news is most of the shows we were pumping will have already happened. Consider this post a public service announcement of sorts for some of the live metal events you can and should check out this week/end in Southern Ontario.

If you missed out on last night's food bank supporting show at The Doors Pub featuring The Flu, Anti-Vibes, Bird Death and Slendor Loris, or (and especially) SubRosa and The Atlas Moth opening for Boris at Lee's Palace in Toronto, I feel for you. And for those of you attending Heavy Montreal this weekend, I'm jealous.
